Glee star Chris Colfer has one more thing to his list of talents - authoring a kids' book! The 22-year-old actor's first novel The Land of Stories has just hit bookstores. The story is centered around Connor and Alex, two kids who get sucked into a book of their favorite stories and are forced to meet all the imaginary characters they've read about face to face.
Chris says he was a huge book nerd when he was younger, and would love lining up for the new Harry Potter books. Chris penned the novel last summer during the Glee World Tour.
"I was writing constantly in my hotel room and under the stage during performances even, and I'd be singing, 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' and I'd think of something really witty for Connor to say. Had to run downstairs to the changing booth, type it into my computer, run off and do 'Single Ladies' in leotard. It was an interesting summer. I don't think I've mentally recovered from that time."
