The King of Pop is ready to rock with you again as he makes his return with two big concerts and his first studio album in six years.

Michael Jackson marks his return to the spotlight with two concerts billed as Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration, The Solo Years at New York's Madison Square Garden (September 7, 10, 2001.) He won't be moon walking alone though he's teaming up for a Jackson 5 reunion with his brothers and the show will also include performances by Britney Spears, Aaron Carter and Whitney Houston. Until recently, *NSYNC was scheduled to perform but they had to pull out due to a scheduling conflict. It looks like Janet Jackson won't be joining her bro either cuz she's on the road with her All For You Tour.
The big comeback concerts should get people excited about the release of Michael's new album, Invincible, which comes out internationally on October 29th and in the US on October 30th. The first single, You Rock My World, is spinning on radio stations across North America. The song was leaked out early by a couple of New York radio stations who started playing it before they were allowed to but it doesn't seem to have done Michael any harm.
You Rock My World was written by Michael and Rodney Jerkins. Michael is joined by actor Chris Tucker for some chit-chat at the beginning of the song and they joke about "getting the girl." The song's got a great beat that made me picture a model struttin' down the runway. Of course you can always count on Michael's signature high-pitched whoos and grunts. In the middle of the song the beat kinda breaks into a We Will Rock You-type stomping beat. I think it'll be a hit but not as big as songs like Billie Jean or Beat It.
Sony/Epic hasn't released a date for the video of You Rock My World but we do know that it was directed by Paul Hunter who's made videos with Lenny Kravitz, L.L. Cool J. and P. Diddy. Fans will be able to get their Jacko fix very soon but only time will tell if the King of Pop will be able to take his throne back.
