Dec 27, 2006

What sorta footwear are you gonna be shooting hoops in this fall? From the newest kicks by KG to the latest sneakers from T-Mac, Kidzworld has a look at this year's hottest basketball shoes.

And One - KGII and KG Select
The KGII basketball shoe from And One is the footwear of choice for Minnesota Timberwolves' go-to guy, Kevin Garnett. The follow up to last year's KG Low comes in white and navy and will be hitting stores on November 15, 2002. You may have already seen the commericals for the KGII. They show Kevin Garnett being interrogated in a dark room and being asked why he couldn't get the T-Wolves out of the first round of the NBA playoffs. Expect to pay around $100 US.

If your feet are a bit smaller, you may want to step into the KG Select Basketball Shoes for Kids from And One. These shoes are also named for KG and come in black and silver. They cost around $89.99 US. For more on And One, head to the company's official site.

Reebok Big Kids Answer V Mid DMX
The shoes named for Allen Iverson have a ghile lacing system up the front for extra comfort and support. The Answer V Mid DMX have a mid-cut for ankle support and come in white, silver and red. They cost around $85 US but they don't guarantee you'll have a crossover dribble like Allen's. Check 'em out at www.reebok.com.

The Adidas T-Mac 2
You may see chaos at the shopping mall when these shoes come out on November 1, 2002. The T-Mac 2, named for Tracy MacGrady, are blue and black to match his Orlando Magic colors and have a mesh bootie that gives a great fit. The T-Mac 2 costs around $100 US.
