If you've seen the awesome Shrek 2 movie then you know the story behind this game - if you haven't then go see it, now! It's a wicked flick. The Shrek 2 game puts you in control of the heroes from the movie and all their buddies - four of 'em at a time - as you adventure all the way to the land of Far, Far Away to chill with Fiona's 'rents and that Prince Charming loser.

Shrek 2 is a basic adventure game full of running, jumping, collecting stuff and bashing the odd enemy. It's packed full of nine different heroes with their own special moves, style and attitude. From pulling Matrix-fu on the baddies to fairy dust and candy-cane ninja moves, the action is fast, furious and fun. Fun? Yup - Shrek 2 is packed with dancing elves, smart-alec leprechauns, mini-games and tons of jokes that'll make you chuckle. Plus, it's a four-player, multiplayer game so you and your friends can yuck it up with the animated heroes at the same time.

Nine heroes, special moves, tons of fun jokes, candy-canes, cookies and multiplayer action. Dang, there's not much wrong here. Oh wait! The camera angles will drive you bonkers. That and it would have been nice if the actors from the movie did the voice acting in the game, but the heroes still sound good, so it's not really a big deal.

Shrek 2 - Ogre-ishly Awesome or a Swamp Stinker?

It's full of good news, itty-bitty bits of bad news, lots of ogre-ish action and heroes with tons of style. Shrek 2 is the coolest thing to crawl out of the swamp since Shrek himself! Grab some friends, watch the movie, then rent this game and play 'til your thumbs hurt. It's awesome.
