Geena, Amber and Jazz Dhillon are sisters of Indian descent who live in England. Geena is a flirty 14 year-old who yearns to redecorate her bedroom, while 11 year-old Jazz wants her ears pierced. Amber, the book's narrator, is 12 and dying for new running shoes. After their mother died, their father started working long hours, allowing the girls to get take-out dinners, stay up late and watch endless TV every night! Needless to say, they don't want anyone messing with their routine.
