
Sega's taken the first step to make their American games work on any system. They've released all the Dreamcast Quake maps to computer players. Now if you have a Dreamcast you can get fragged by someone on a computer, and the other way around. Ahem. I told you so....

Did you know that the name Xbox was owned by somebody other than Microsoft? Yup, XBOX Technologies owned the name. When Microsoft announced the Xbox name for their new system the stinky stuff hit the fan. Well they've finally settled on who gets the name. An Xbox Technologies representative said "It was a very, very mutually satisfying agreement." It sounds like Microsoft dropped a lot of cash to get the name.
Lara Croft doesn't know when to slow down. She pulled off a miracle when Tomb Raider the movie didn't suck and blew Atlantis: The Lost Empire out of the water. Now the world's most famous action babe is coming to the Game Boy Color. Keep your eyes peeled for an adventure by Activision, the same guys who bring Tony Hawk to life. They're making the Tomb Raider adventure and it could be out as early as June 25, 2001.
Last but not least is the brand new Game Boy Advance. This bad boy has been released by Nintendo and they've already sold half a million of 'em. Holy flapjacks Batman! Don't forget that now you can rent a Game Boy Advance from Blockbuster. Rather than dishing out $100 all at once, you can snag one for a couple of days to test it. Just don't forget to eat and sleep while you're playing with your new toy.
