Mix chess, checkers and mix a little craziness and you will get Traverse! Kidzworld reviews this special 20th anniversary edition of the game!

Traverse has been helping kids fight boredom for more than 20 years. This award-winning game combines the coolest features of chess and checkers! It is not as brain-stressin' like chess, but at the same time it's more challenging than checkers. Up to four players can play this addictive game. Traverse is played on a checkered board similar to a chess board. There are four different game pieces that all move different ways. Like a circle can move in any direction, while a square can just move horizontally or vertically, but not diagonally. In this game, you can slide, jump and zig-zag your way to the goal line. It is a fun strategic game and it always feels good to out-think your opponent!
