By Kids for Kids Contest

Jun 04, 2015

By Kids for Kids (BKFK) is a youth empowerment company that gives kids the opportunity to create great ideas and inventions for other kids to use. Now, they've launched four innovation contests and if you enter by June 30, 2008, you could walk away with a grand prize of $10,000! Read on to find out all the details!

"Advertise Your Cause" Media Challenge

Let the world know what social issues matter to you the most by creating a clever visual, print, or web advertising campaign. The campaign that's the most powerful and has the most impact will be awarded a big fat sum of $10,000! As well, the winner will receive national media exposure for their PSA.

Akitas to Zebras (A2Z) Animal Challenge

If you're an animal lover, then this is the contest for you. Whether you've invented a cool new toy for your pet, come up with an ingenious way to improve an animal's life, or want to help save an endangered species, your fabulous idea could win you $10,000 plus a trip for two (you and a parent or legal guardian) to Washington, DC to visit a wildlife agency!

CosmoGIRL! Mind Your Own Business Challenge

Calling all aspiring female moguls! Here's your chance to create a new entrepreneurial concept for a product or service in America! In addition to winning $10,000 in seed money from BKFK to put your business plan into action, you'll also get media attention and entrepreneurial support. Sorry guys, but this contest is only open to the girls.

Design Squad Trash to Treasure Contest

This challenge is pretty self-explanatory - get your hands dirty by turning trash into a piece of treasure! To compete, you must pick at least two trash items that you can recyle, reuse and re-engineer into something new and resourceful. The winner will walk away with a grand prize of $10,000 and have the opportunity to build a prototype of your design at Continuum, an award-winning international design and innovation consultancy.

  • The contest is now closed.
