Ooga Booga :: Dreamcast Game Review

Dec 27, 2006

Take a trip and hang with the coolest bunch of island dwellers since the Survivor crew. This island's full of crazy natives, wild boars and one big, bad volcano goddess - Ooga Booga. Pick your fave tribe from the Hotties, Fatties, Twitchies and creepy Houdoos, then get ready to compete to impress Ooga Booga.

Ooga Booga Game Basics

Each tribe has different advantages. A Twitchy can outrun a Fatty but if the Fatty gets his huge mits on the little guy, it's pain time. Once you've picked your tribe, it's time for some online Smakahuna.

Ooga Booga Game Action

There are a whole bunch of multiplayer games you can play online but they're all about one thing - stomping the heck out of the other guy. You can throw shrunken heads, summon lightning bolts and ride the boars around the island. You score points by whacking the other guys around the island, rolling boulders through goals and other wacky tricks. The more points you score the more impressed Ooga Booga is, but if you haven't got enough points you're gonna feel her volcanic wrath - cuz you suck.

Ooga Booga Multiplayer Mayhem

You can play online or by yourself. The single player mode is a bit weak - the AI is wacky. Some levels are super-hard while others are super-easy. Use the single-player mode to practice your moves then get online and kick some butt.

Ooga Booga Game Final Word

The graphics and sound are awesome. They're really smooth, totally hyperactive and perfect for getting you in the mood to ram someone in the butt with a wild boar.

Ooga Booga! Ooga Booga! Ooga Booga!

How hard is Ooga Booga?

It takes about 30 minutes to learn the controls and then the difficulty varies - a lot!
