High School Musical :: Get in the Picture TV Show Facts

Contestants from across the country will compete to follow in the footsteps of their favorite Disney stars in High School Musical :: Get in the Picture. Kidzworld checks it out.

Host

Nick Lachey - Former 98 Degrees boy-bander Nick knows a lot about being a star, and reality TV. He’s currently working on his third solo album.

Faculty

Rob Adler - Rob has a lot of experience in acting and theater. He’ll be teaching the contestants all about comedy and a bit about [KWLINK 3891]Shakespeare[KWLINK].

Tiana Brown - Tiana has been a professional dancer for years and performed with Christina Aguilera, Christina Milian, the Black Eyed Peas, and Britney Spears, plus many more.

Montre Burton - Montre has been dedicated to theater, music, and dance for his whole life. He has appeared in Entourage and numerous other TV, stage and commercial productions.

Jennifer Malenke - Stage veteran Malenke has starred on Broadway and has experience as an acting, piano, and vocal coach.

Chris Prinzo - Chris played Pepper in Mamma Mia on Broadway and has numerous stage, film and TV credits. He’s also a well-respected theater instructor.

Regina Williams - Regina is an actress, dancer and choreographer who is credited with bringing hip-hop into the studio dance world.

Fun Facts

High School Musical :: Get in the Picture will premiere Sunday July 20, 2008 at 8/7 central, on ABC.

The show’s first episodes will feature East Coast and West Coast auditions, semifinals, and [KWLINK 8195]finals.

12 finalists will participate in the ultimate summer music program as they compete for the title.

The winner will appear in a music video premiering during the end credits of Disney’s High School Musical 3, as well as getting a talent contract and recording contract with Walt Disney Records.
