If you’ve never heard of this Disney movie before, don’t worry. If you ask your parents about Escape to Witch Mountain, they’ll probably remember watching the film when they were kids.

Now’s your chance to see this classic Walt Disney movie in a new special edition DVD. Return From Witch Mountain is the thrilling sequel to Disney’s Escape to Witch Mountain. In this movie, cars mysteriously fly and humans float in thin air as a pair of sinister masterminds unleashes a diabolical plan.

The entire city of Los Angeles teeters on the brink of nuclear disaster when the two greedy criminals manipulate young Tony Malone’s psychic powers for their own devious gain. But Tony’s psychic sister, Tia Malone, along with a streetwise gang of truants join forces in a desperate attempt to save the city from total and complete destruction.

This new special edition DVD of the 1975 classic includes the following bonus features:

  • Pop-up Fun Facts
  • Making the Return Trip
  • The Gang’s Back in Town
  • Disney Kids with Powers
  • The Eyes Have It
  • Christopher Lee: The Lost Interview
  • 1978 Disney Studio Album
  • Audio commentary

  • While the effects are low-tech and no longer special (remember, this movie was made in 1975!), Escape to With Mountain still has plenty of old-school Disney appeal. If you like Harry Potter, then you’ll appreciate the powers Tony and Tia have that seem kind of parallel to the famous boy wizard. Check it out on DVD!
