Peggle is a game that is easy to learn, but impossible to master. Truly one that will test your luck and skill, but continues to be fun and addicting from beginning to end.

After being released on PC and on Xbox Live, Peggle is finally on a system that makes sense. Since there is no time constraint in normal play, you can open and close your Nintendo DS any time and make your shot whenever you want. If you are always moving around all day and only have a few seconds to play here and there, Peggle can easily fit your busy schedule.

Super Simple

Peggle is easy to learn, but there are lots of extra features infused into the game that makes it fun and interesting. There are orange and blue pegs scattered around in various arrangements on the screen. The goal is to hit all the oranges within ten shots, but you can earn more points by hit the blues as well.

There are green and purple pegs as well. The purple pegs give you access to the underground, where you can earn more points, while hitting the green pegs unleashes a special power, which changes depending on the character you use.

Super Challenging

Just because the game is easy to learn doesn’t mean that it is easy to beat. Most levels will require a good mixture of luck and skill to complete. There is a moving bucket on the bottom of the screen and, if you manage to land your ball in it, you get it back for another shot.

Some levels can really drive you bananas, but even if you fail many times, you will still have fun doing it because it is just so satisfying.

Super Satisfying

There is a fantastic sense of accomplishment in beating a level in Peggle. Your final shot goes into slo-mo and, if you hit the final orange needed to beat the level, the background explodes with colors and Beethoven’s Ode to Joy plays loudly and triumphantly as your bonus points add up.

But that’s not all. Peggle comes with a large collection of levels that you can play over and over in efforts to unlock more levels and the second adventure mode. It is sure to satisfy any Peggle fan’s cravings.

Final Shot

Peggle is a fantastic, fun and addicting game that is perfect for the DS. If you are considering the game, don’t hesitate, just pick it up!
