You guessed it – this book is ALL ABOUT DINOSAURS! This amazing oversized hardcover book and is absolutely stunning. The main cover has a raised-effect Tyrannosaurus rex on it – run your fingers over it to feel the scaled. With shiny gold lettering across the front, this is a really good-looking book, inside and out.

Crack open the cover and you’re in for a real treat. The contents of this book are designed to look like the research notebook or field guide of a retired paleontologist. The contents are breathtaking. The book is beautifully illustrated by Robert Nicholls and James Robins – all the different dinosaurs described inside come alive in full color and tons of detail.

Check out the inside cover – it contains an envelope that really opens to reveal a letter from the author, which explains the handbook you’re about to read is a collection of notes from years of studying dinosaurs.

And the surprises don’t end there. Each page of this book covers a new topic, and includes flaps you can unfold to reveal more amazing dinosaur information, pullouts, maps, specimens and more. It’s a really great way to get interactive and learn all about dinosaurs.

Finally, the book comes with a huge, full-color, double-sided poster you can pull out and hang on your wall. It shows different species of dinosaurs on one side, and the relative size of dinosaur footprints (compared to human footprints) on the other.
