Be a ninja, wizard, adventurer, chef, miner, pet trainer, or even a cart racer! Best of all, this game is free!

FreeRealms is a free to play massively multiplayer online game that can be played on your Playstation 3 or downloaded and played from your computer. You can play by yourself or meet new friends online and work together to complete quests. There are lots to do, ensuring that everyone will be able to enjoy themselves.

Represent Yourself!

Like with most MMOs, you get to make your own character and customize how you look. There is a naming theme, however, that restricts what you can call yourself but really helps to create a consistent world for your character to live in. This naming theme and customizability applies to any pets that you get in the game as well.

Of Might and Magic

There are many different jobs in FreeRealms. From the typical classes of Ninja and Wizard to the unusual ones of Pet Trainer and Kart Racer, you will definitely find something that is interesting and fun for you. Each job comes with different mini-games that will help you level up. You are not limited to just one job. In fact, you play all of them! Unlock them as you explore the game world, your character will automatically transform to the appropriate job when necessary.

Unlike other MMORPGs, you don't have to fight your way through everything. In fact, you can play the game without any combat at all. Some quests will give you options. For example, to remove some party crashers, you can choose to fight them or to cook up a special potion with your Chef job to get rid of them.

The controls of game will take some getting used to if you are not familiar with MMOs. However, the starting game tutorial and map and atlas are extremely helpful, leading to a smooth gaming experience.

The Best things in Life are Free

There are special items like clothes, karts, and pets that require special coins to purchase. These can only be bought using real life money, such as with a credit card. You don't need these items to enjoy the game, but sometimes it is nice to have an extra edge in a pinch!

The majority of the game is free, however. Some things, like leveling and combat can get boring eventually, but there are always different things to do if you do get bored! FreeRealms is definitely worth a try, especially since it won't cost you a cent to do it!
