Hidden Characters
Here's the walkthrough and cheats on how to unlock all the hidden Super Smash Brothers Melee characters. First is the name of the character, then the 411 on how to unlock him so you can kick butt with his moves:

| Dr. Mario | Beat classic mode using Mario without losing a life or play 100 versus mode matches to fight Dr. Mario. |
| Falco Lombardi | Win the 100-man melee or play 300 versus mode matches. |
| Gannondorf | Beat Event Mode #29 - the Triforce Gathering or play 600 versus mode matches. |
| Jigglypuff (Purin) | Complete adventure mode or fight 50 multi-player battles. |
| Luigi | Beat the first adventure stage with a time of **:*2:** then beat Luigi in under a minute. Or play 800 versus mode matches. |
| Mewtwo | Mewtwo shows up randomly in multi-player matches or after 700 versus matches or 20 hours of melee mode play. Once he shows up, beat him and you can play as him. |
| Mr. Game & Watch | Finish classic mode, or target test mode, with all 24 characters or play 1000 versus mode matches to unlock Mr. Game & Watch. |
| Pichu |
There are four different ways to unlock Pichu: #1 - Unlock Luigi and Falco. #2 - Beat event #37. #3 - Play 200 matches in versus mode. #4 - Complete adventure mode as Mewtwo. |
| Prince Marth | Beat classic mode with Ness on the very easy difficulty setting without continuing or play 400 versus mode matches to unlock Prince Marth. |
| Roy | Beat the game in classic mode with Prince Marth or play 900 versus mode matches. |
| Young Link | Beat classic mode 10 times, once with Link and the rest with a different character each time. Or beat adventure mode with Gannondorf or play 500 versus mode matches. |

An easy way to get Mewtwo:
Enter VS. Mode and select Stock for Rules and have 3 stocks now select your characters and choose the Poke'mon stadium. Now get both characters in the middle of the ring and all you have to do is leave it on overnight (I know it sux not playing but it's worth it!) then in the morning get your good char and kill the other guy 3 times and BAM! it shows Mewtwo you have to fight!
