The Bachelorette: Where Are They Now?

Jun 23, 2009

Did these single ladies find love on national TV? We break it down for you in our special Where Are They Now edition!

Season 1

Then: Trista Rehn, physical therapist and probably the most famous bachelorette of them all, didn’t spend much time mending her broken heart after being rejected by premier bachelor Alex Michel. She signed up to do the first season of The Bachelorette and found the love of her life, firefighter Ryan Sutter (the final episode was one of the most-watched programs in the history of reality TV).

Now: After an equally huge reality TV wedding, Trista and Ryan are still together and have two kids – a boy and a girl.

Then: Meredith Phillips, a makeup artist, got engaged to Ian McKee through the show.

Now: Well, what can we say? It didn’t work out.

Then: Before heartbreaker Brad Womack showed up there was bubbly publicist Jen Schefft – the first girl or guy to reject both runners-up at the final rose ceremony.

Now: She’s got a book out, and the title speaks for itself: “Better Single Than Sorry.”

Season 4

Then: Sultry real estate agent DeAnna Pappas picked Jesse Csincsak, pro snowboarder, over now-controversial Jason Mesnick, telling him she couldn’t imagine her life without him.
