At 14, DeBarge was introduced to famed music producer Kenneth Babyface Edmonds. She worked with him for five years and, on the day before her 19th birthday, signed a recording contract with SodaPop Music. Soon, Kristinia was putting the final touches on her debut album Exposed, and people everywhere where rocking out to her first single, Goodbye, which sample’s the ’69 hit song heard in sports stadiums everywhere,
