The take-home version of Aliens In The Attic, which was seen in theatres earlier this year, is out on DVD on November 3. Full of spunky special effects and some silly slapstick action, the film tells the story of what happens when you find extraterrestrials living in your attic.

Outta Space

Ashley Tisdale stars in this spacey flick, taking on the role of older sister to Carter Jenkins (played by Tom Pearson). When Carter is forced to spend the weekend on what he assumes will be a boring family getaway, he finds that aliens have crash-landed in the attic and are looking for a way – via an intergalactic gaming controller – to take over the entire human race.

Gamey Guests

One cool thing about this DVD are the video game textures that pop up frequently throughout the film, including a mid-movie Street Fighter battle between Granny Pearson and the character that’s Ashley’s conniving boyfriend, Ricky. There’s even a point in the movie where a Nintendo DS console is able to detect the strange language that the invading attic aliens are speaking.
