Kidzworld Review

Tinker Bell And The Lost Treasure is (obviously) the video game version of the new straight-to-DVD/Blu-Ray movie called – surprise, surprise – Tinker Bell And The Lost Treasure. The story behind the game is pretty much the same as the plot behind the movie.

Fairy Good

Like we said in the intro, the game story is similar to the movie story. For the main adventure in the game, you play the character of Tinker Bell; your mission is to go on an exciting quest beyond Pixie Hollow to find the lost treasure that lies north of Never Land.

Besides playing the main adventure game, you can create up to five of your very own fairies and use them to explore the magical world of Pixie Hollow, complete side quests and play mini games, all in preparation for the same Autumn Festival mentioned in the movie. Plus, you can gather items like snowflakes, sunflower seeds and spider silk to customize your fairies’ wardrobes, as well as furniture to decorate their homes!

Also, this game lets you connect with the Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow virtual world from Disney Online in a whole bunch of cool new ways! For the first time ever, you’ll be able to upload an original, customized fairy avatar from your DS to the virtual world, where it will join more than 16 million other fairies that have been created so far. Once you’ve uploaded your fairy, you’ll gain access to an exclusive online quest, which, when completed, will unlock a special item in both the virtual world and in the DS game!
