Shred fresh powder around the world in [kwlink 15574]Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage out now for Nintendo Wii. Use the Wii-mote with an attached motion plus or the Wii balance board to control your boarder as they carve down mountain sides from Canada to France to Japan and many places in between.

Snow Ride

Shaun White uses the Wii’s unique abilities to the full extent, with great use of Wii Motionplus and the balance board for a snowboarding experience on par only with Shaun’s previous outing on Wii. Up to four players can race, participate in trick competitions and mini games using Wii-motes or balance boards to battle it out for snowboarding supremacy. If your friends can’t make it over, you can improve your World Snowboarding rankings in an effort to make it to the World Stage tournament in Sweden to prove your stuff as the world’s top snowboarder.

Take it Easy

When you’re not participating in trick competitions and races across the globe, relax in the lobby of an airport and customize the look of your boarder guy or gal of choice, as well as their board. As you progress through the game you’ll unlock more outfits and snowboards to choose from, as well as characters you can play as and against. Shaun and his friends are all rendered in cartoon sheen, blending into their stylized world though rooted in reality.

Around the World

If you’re looking for a great snowboarding game to keep you and your friends entertained for hours, World Stage is a great choice. Even if you own a balance board and just want another game to show off the hardware, World Stage is a great game to get your family and friends trying out the Wii.
