Featuring world famous footballers Pelé and Mia Hamm, Academy of Champions Soccer for Nintendo Wii is a fun soccer game with Role-Playing elements that helps set it apart from the rest of the sport game pack. Create a character and recruit players to form a 5-person team and dominate the opposition.

Play like a Champion

Academy of Champions Soccer uses the most of the Wii controls, allowing for simple yet intuitive control that makes use of the Wii Balance Board and Wii Motion Plus should you own either. Adding either device changes the feel of the gameplay and allows for greater control – adding the Wii Motion Plus for instance, allows you to change the height of your shots, allowing for more precise lobs into play. Though Academy of Champions Soccer doesn’t feel as accurate as FIFA 10, the arcade-simple controls get the job done.

Academic Growth

One of the most original parts about Academy of Champions Soccer is the way in which it incorporates RPG elements into the game, giving it a unique approach to sports that makes it feel almost like a Harry Potter for soccer fans. Improve your team’s grades in things like Striking and Speed with points accumulated from playing well during matches and training. The game also has you actively searching for new players to recruit, allowing you to develop a team that plays the game the way you want it to be played. The RPG aspects really make this game; if you fancy the idea of quick-paced arcade soccer where you get to develop the character of your team in more ways than one, apply to this Academy.

Should You Enroll?

Academy of Champions Soccer offers a unique perspective to the standard fare sports game and anyone who is looking for a fast playing arcade soccer game with player development on the side should enroll in courses at this Academy immediately.
