Disney Toy Story's "It's Tough Being a Toy" Video Clips

Mar 19, 2010

Do you ever look at all your toys and feel a bit jealous? Does it seem like your stuffed animals, figurines and dolls are really living the life? Do you ever wish you could shrink down to their size so you can spend your days playing, too? Well, the toys in Toy Story are here to tell you – being a toy isn’t all fun and games!

Frozen Forever

Sure, you get to play all the time, but one of the top reasons it’s tough being a toy is that if a human being catches you out of position, you’ll be frozen forever! So you have to be very, very careful!

Rejection Hurts

Imagine being some little boy or girl’s favorite toy of all-time, only to be replaced at Christmas or on that kid’s birthday by some newer, better, shinier, fancier toy who’s got all sorts of buttons to press and may even be able to walk and talk! Being replaced as a child’s all-time fave toy is really hard to bear.

Getting Lost

Sometimes kids forget to put their toys away – or forget where they last played with them altogether. When you’re a toy, you can’t speak to or communicate with humans, so if you get lost, it’s sort of impossible to let your owner know where you are!
