Fashion Police :: 2010 Golden Globe Awards

Jul 10, 2018

As the first awards show of the season, the Golden Globes let celebs test their outfits – styles that may or may not work – for the Oscars. Check out who Kidzworld thought had a successful trial run – and who failed epically last night.

Best Dressed

Kate Winslet ruled the red carpet in a stunning black strapless Yves St. Laurent gown that was belted at the waist.

Eva Longoria looked ravishing in a red Reem Acra mermaid dress.

High School Musical hottie Vanessa Hudgens popped a pose in a perfect peach piece by Alberta Ferretti.

Sandra Bullock paired a sexy snake bracelet and turquoise clutch with a fab flamenco dress by Christian Dior.

We were filled with “glee” when we saw Glee star Lea Michele’s black ball gown – the perfect dress to live out a fairytale moment like the Golden Globes.

AnnaLynne McCord of Beverly Hills 90210 went out on a limb in a dress that could have failed miserably – but didn’t! She looked like a Grecian princess!.

Worst Dressed

Poor Drew Barrymore. We wish she hadn’t gone for the puffy shoulder and hip accessories.

Marisa Tomei looked quite unfashionable in a “puffy shirt dress.” Gown. Luckily, we think she’s an ab-fab actress!

Miley Cyrus looked a lot older than her 16 years in this strapless number.

Renee Zellweger is usually among the best-dressed actresses on the red carpet. But this year she missed the mark, opting for the “Victorian Granny” look instead.

We think it’s ironic that Heidi Klum hosts a show where she judges other people’s fashion designs when she can’t seem to pick a dress for herself that looks good!

We love Ugly Betty but we don’t love America Ferrerra’s gray, one-strap frock..

Golden Globe Guys

Taylor Lautner looked dapper presenting awards at the show in a black tuxedo that had a bit of shimmer to it.

Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford boldly sported a skinny tie with his Dolce & Gabbana tux. His jaunty pocket square also added a fun touch.

Glee hunk Cory Montieth joked about being a fashion disaster but looked amazing in his Hugo Boss tux and silver tie.

Avatar’s Sam Worthington scored points in his Burberry tux and tie.
