Super Bowl XLIV Predictions

Jul 10, 2018

The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints are playing in Super Bowl XLIV (44) taking place in Miami, Florida, this Sunday, February 7, 2010. While the Colts are favored to win the game, do not underestimate the Saints!

All About Offence

Both teams have amazing offences. The ColtsReggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie are an amazing group of wide receivers and tight end Dallas Clark is another great passing target for quarterback Peyton Manning. However Saints quarterback Drew Brees has wide receivers Marques Colston and Deverly Henderson, as well as tight end Jeremy Shockey to throw the ball to. As for the running game, running backs Joseph Addai (Colts) and Reggie Bush (Saints) have both proven that they can get yards on the ground.

Don't Forget Defense

Defense is what is going to win the game for either the Colts or the Saints. The wide receivers and tight ends need to be covered in order to stop them for making big-yard plays. The Colts do have a better defense than the Saints. However a key member of the Colts’ defense is injured. Defensive end Dwight Freeney tore a ligament in his right ankle during the AFC Championship game versus the New York Jets and whether he plays in Sunday’s game is questionable. If he does not play, it could really hurt the Colts’ chances of winning the game.

The Final Score

However it does not really matter who wins the Super Bowl. What does matter is that a great game is played by both teams. But if you really have to cheer for someone … we would maybe take a chance on the Saints - the NFL’s most “heavenly” team!
