The summer of 2002 is just about over and you're back to the books for another year of school. Before ya get all bummed out, let me remind you that the new prime time TV season (which means killer couch time) is on the way. Here's a look at all your fave returning shows and a newbie to look out for this fall on NBC.

1

Friends

Friends is back for one more season of laughs. There's even speculation this isn't actually the last season but it's just a rumor right now. We left off with Rachel having a baby girl and saying "yes" to Joey after he picks up an engagement ring that falls out of Ross' jacket. Oops! Yes, Joey. It should be interesting to see how this lil' love triangle turns out. There's also a good chance Monica and Chandler could have some baby news of their own. Remember how they snuck off to the hospital closet? The season premiere of Friends airs September 26th at 8:00 PM on NBC.

1Scrubs If you haven't already
stumbled onto the medical comedy Scrubs, then we suggest you check yourself into the ER. Don't touch the remote after Friends cuz there are plenty more laughs on Scrubs which airs Thursday at 8:30 PM in its new time slot. We're sure to see more crazy antics and med student disasters from medical intern John "J.D." Dorion (Zach Braff) his best bud, surgical intern, Chris Turk (Donald Faison of Felicity) and J.D.'s crush, the goofy Elliot Reed, who's played by Sarah Chalke (formerly Becky on Rosanne.) I wonder if we'll finally find out why that janitor, played by Neil Flynn, is such a nutbar?

1

Will & Grace

Will & Grace returns for a fifth season of laughs. We left off with Will and Grace trying to have a baby through artificial insemination while Jack contemplated giving up on his show biz dreams. After a ton of baby-making obstacles, Grace is finally onroute to the clinic when she bumps into a very hot stranger played by jazz singer/actor Harry Connick Jr. Harry Connick Jr. returns as a guest star in the season premiere of Will & Grace airing September 26th, 9:00 PM. Does this mean Grace will have a new man in her life? And what about her baby dreams with Will? You'll have to tune in, to find out!

American Dreams

American Dreams is a new one-hour drama set in the 1960s that looks at America through the eyes of a young family from Philadelphia. The Pryor family includes 15 year-old daughter, Meg (Brittany Snow,) who struggles with a good girl image and wishes she could be more like her pal Roxanne (Vanessa Lengies.) The two girls are trying to become dancers on Dick Clark's American Bandstand. Meg's mom, Helen, is played by Gail O'Grady and her father Jack Pryor (Tom Verica) owns an electronics store and is determined his son JJ (Will Estes) plays Notre Dame football. Actor, Ethan Dampf plays the youngest son Will and Sarah Ramos plays the lil' sister. You may recognize cutie Joseph Lawrence from Blossom who has a recurring role as Michael Brooks, the associate producer for American Bandstand. American Dreams airs on Sundays at 8 PM.

Don't forget that there's plenty of good TV on NBC including other returning faves like Fear Factor, ER, Just Shoot Me and Frasier. Check your TV guide and make sure you pencil in some couch time for Friends, Scrubs, Will & Grace and American Dreams.
