Dying to see the new Harry Potter movie? Some people are going to other movies just to see the trailer! But dont worry, JK Rowlings Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be weaving its magic into theaters before you can wave your magic wand.

If you've been dying for the next flick in the Harry Potter series, you don't have long to wait. The Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets movie will be weaving its magic in theaters before you can wave your magic wand. Well, maybe not that fast... but November 15, 2002 isn't far away! In the meantime wizards, check out these movie facts on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

1 Die-hard Harry Potter maniacs went to see Scooby-Doo just to get a peek at the first full trailer for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Whoa! You've gotta be hardcore to shell-out full ticket prices on a trailer.

1 11 year-old Joel Willoughby won a walk-on part in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by answering five questions in the Owl Prowl game on the Harry Potter Web site. Joel just wanted to win a DVD of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie and ended up winning the prize of a lifetime!

1 Originally, Alan Cumming (Spy Kids and Spy Kids 2) and Hugh Grant (Bridget Jones's Diary) were considered for the part of Gilderoy Lockhart. English actor, Kenneth Branagh, is playing the part of Gilderoy Lockhart.

1 Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter, hasn't been confirmed for the third movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

1 Chris Columbus, the director of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, will not be directing the third Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It will be directed by Alfonso Cuaron who directed A Little Princess.

1 You may notice Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter, looks like a young kid in the last scene of the original Harry Potter flick but is looking older and has a deeper voice for the Chamber of Secrets movie. That's okay though cuz Harry's getting older in the books too. Yikes! I wonder if Harry's gonna be six feet tall by the time Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban comes out in 2004!
