This Week In Sports :: Mystery Sport Stories

Oct 28, 2010

“This Week in Sports” has some unusual stories. There is a player in the NHL dominating the point scoring race and it’s not Sydney Crosby or Alex Ovechkin. The San Fransisco Giants have scored 20 runs in their first two World Series Games. Lebron James and the “Trio of Terror” lose their first NBA game together. There was a mystery fumble in the Dolphins / Steelers game… a lot of weird things happening in the World of Sports so close to Halloween… coincidence??? I think not…

Hockey Headlines

Stamkos StarStamkos Star

Steven Stamkos is dominating the NHL scoring race? Well it is a little early but Steven has almost doubled the competition so far scoring 18 points in only 9 games. Watching him play with Martin St. Louis, they are really starting to have some really good chemistry. Martin seems to be able to hustle and create plays to get the puck to Steven and Steve’s shot is one in a million. He sure knows how to do a one-timer!

Giant WinsGiant Wins

The Texas Rangers are in their first World Series ever and it shows… they have given up 20 runs to the San Francisco Giants in their first two games and now they are down 0-2 and Texas is silent.

Football Fever

Fumble or FavorFumble or Favor

In a very important AFC conference matchup last week between the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers, a mystery remains to determine who should have won the game. With the Steelers trailing 20-22 and very little time to go, Ben Roethelisberger fumbled the ball into the end zone and the referees could not find out who recovered the ball. The Steelers got the ball back and kicked a field goal to win the game 23-22. However, everyone is saying that it was obvious that Miami’s Ikaika Alana-Francis recovered the fumble… what the heck?!?!?

NBA Notes

Disgust in MiamiDisgust in Miami

Lebron James and his posse lost their first game to the Boston Celtics 88-80. Wow… maybe the Miami Heat aren’t as good as I thought they would be?
