Glee: Season 2, Episode 19 :: Rumors

May 02, 2011

This week on Glee (Season 2, Episode 19), rumors spread like wildfire and no one is left untouched. Check out Kidzworld’s recap of “Rumors,” which aired on May 3, 2011, to find out the truth.

Fondue for Two

Always witty, Brittany decides to start her own online talk show called Fondue for Two. Her first guests? Mercedes and Tina. As can be expected, Brittany’s show is basically a big gossip fest, and she tells her guests that Santana likes to play for “the other team.” She really means that Santana isn’t a cheerleader anymore, but Mercedes and Tina take it the wrong way and assume Santana is a lesbian. When Santana finds out she is upset, but sings a love song to Brittany in the hopes of expressing her true feelings. They agree to reveal their relationship on Fondue for Two, but Santana bails at the last minute.

Extra, Extra

In her everlasting quest to destroy Mr. Schu, Sue reinstates the school’s newspaper. But instead of presenting the news, Sue tells the students to write about gossip and speculation. What kind of stories make it into The Muckracker? The paper reports that Quinn is cheating on Finn with Sam and that Mr. Schu is leaving McKinley High for Broadway since he has been helping his friend April prepare for a new show. Jealous and suspicious, Finn recruits Rachel and the two spy on Quinn and Sam. Turns out, Quinn was just helping Sam babysit but they make Quinn so upset she bans Rachel and Finn from singing together ever again.

Fleetwood Mac

When Mr. Schu’s friend April returns to ask him for help, she suggests the kids focus on Fleetwood Mac songs. What is their take on the band? Santana serenades Brittany with her version of ‘Songbird’, Rachel sings about Finn in ’Go Your Own Way’ and the glee club tackles ‘Don’t Stop’ to make Sam feel better about his money problems.
