Oct 19, 2011

Kellie Pickler guest stars on this week’s episode of 90210 Season 4. Check out Episode 6, Benefit of the Doubt, which aired on October 18, 2011.

The Talent Show

When Raj's chemotherapy doesn't work, his only other option is an experimental procedure that his medical insurance won’t cover. Ivy decides to host a talent show to raise money, with a free trip as the prize. When Austin’s hometown visitor Sally (Kellie Pickler) signs up to sing, Naomi is determined to win. She and Max put on a magic show with effects that even Max can’t figure out. But it’s a sore win for Max because he sees that Naomi’s competitiveness stems from her feelings for Austin. Despite her denial, he breaks up with her.

The Replacement Performer

Dixon was supposed to perform at the talent show. But when he runs out of Austin’s ADHD medication, he gets sick and can’t perform. Adrianna volunteers to go in his place. The crowd heckles her at first, but by the end of her song, she wins them over.

The Model

Liam’s bar is in need of extra money. So when a modeling agent tries to recruit him, Liam reluctantly takes the job. Modeling in underwear feels degrading and, because of a lack of experience, he assumes his shots won’t make the ad. But it turns out that the camera loves him. He winds up on a billboard, which earns him a $10,000 cheque.

The Older Man

Nothing is going right for Annie. Her day was bad enough before her car broke down, she got a parking ticket and locked her keys in the car. She asks her friend for an escort job to earn some extra cash. But it turns out that the job is a one-on-one date with an older man, which Annie doesn’t feel comfortable with. She later learns that his intensions were pure, and when he takes her out on a second date to apologize, Annie starts developing feelings for him.

The Blackmail

Navid kicks his uncle’s stolen car ring out of his studio. But when his uncle threatens Silver’s life, he’s forced to turn himself in to the police.
