It time for LEGO Harry Potter to wrap up the series! Harry has grown impressively and so has this game! Read Kidzworlds game review for more details.

The LEGO series has come a far way since the original LEGO Star Wars games. The charm of replaying your favorite moments from your favorite movies and franchises while switching between characters, exploring beyond the story, and collecting studs and other LEGO goodies has yet to fade. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 takes all the things that has made LEGO games great so far and then brings it to the next level.

You're a Wizard Harry

Unlike most of the other games in the LEGO series, you don't switch around between characters too often in LEGO Harry Potter. Rather, you can cycle through various spells to solve puzzles and progress through the story. Classics like Lumos and Wingardian Levisa are back, along with neat new spells such as Legilimens, which lets you read the minds of other characters and learn what you need to do. Of course, you can play through levels again and bring along other Wizards, Goblins, and House Elves so that you can use their special abilities to explore levels even more.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 picks right up with the fifth Harry Potter book/movie, Order of the Phoneix, and takes you through to Deathly Hallows, where you will travel across England, hunting and destroying Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Ending with a Bang

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 does pretty much everything right. The cinematics and graphics are stellar and the drop-in/drop-out co-op works without a hitch. The poor camera movement in past LEGO games seems to be all but solved, making it easy to enjoy the game. Overall, if you are a LEGO or Harry Potter fan, you owe it to yourself to enjoy this great game.
