The Vampire Diaries: Season 4, Episode 3 :: The Rager

Oct 25, 2012

This week on The Vampire Diaries, Connor poisons the vampires with werewolf venom. Find out what you missed in Kidzworld’s recap of “The Rager”, which aired October 25, 2012.

Klaus returns to Mystic Falls to visit Tyler, and he brings a group of hybrids with him. Since new hybrids can’t be created, Klaus is very protective of Tyler, ensuring he stays alive. He commands the other hybrids to be his bodyguards. Unfortunately, Connor already got to him. While Tyler was in the hospital, Connor snuck into his room, held him down and removed werewolf venom from his mouth.

The Hunt

Vampire hunter Connor is still trying to discover the supernatural powers of Mystic Falls. In order to protect the town, a mandatory curfew has been set for anyone who isn’t an adult. Connor shows up at the high school and tries to convince Jeremy to join his search.

Jeremy tells him that Dr. Fell has a connection to vampires. But, it turns out Jeremy is setting him up. When Connor gets to the hospital he is met by Damon and Klaus. Connor triggers a trap that releases arrows into him. The arrows have bombs in them, and they blow up a section of the hospital. Damon thinks he is dead, but Klaus secretly rescues Connor. He tells Connor he is one of “the five”, but doesn’t explain what that is.

Enemies

Rebekkah enlists at the high school, and is determined to making Elena’s life miserable. She taunts her until Elena almost loses complete control. Caroline and Stefan coach her through how to handle her new, intense emotions. Rebekkah throws an anti-curfew party, and Elena shows up. While she is there, Rebekkah steals Elena’s ring that allows her to be out in the sun. Stefan intervenes before she has time to make a mistake, and takes Elena on a motorcycle ride to help her lighten up.

It seems like Connor got to Rebekkah’s alcohol before she did. Both Rebekkah and Elena are having a bad reaction to the alcohol, and Stefan think Connor put werewolf venom in it.
