Architect or Actor?

Jesse Adam Eisenberg was born on October 5th, 1983 and grew up in Queens, New York. His family is Jewish and have ancestors in Poland and Ukraine. Although he is the one who's now made a name for himself in showbiz, it's his sister Hallie who first made a splash on television as kid, starring in several Pepsi commercials. Jesse always knew he loved acting, and first started appearing on stage at age 10, but after high school he was accepted to New York University to study architecture, but decided to put his studies on hold so that he could finish making a film - the rest is history!

Get Real

Jesse won his first television role on the show Get Real, but it was his role in The Emperor's Club - a movie about an inspirational teacher at an elite all boys' school, that truly landed him on the map. He also received great critical acclaim for his role in the indie drama The Squid and the Whale and it was no time before he was being offered roles in higher budget films like Adventureland, Zombieland, and the famous Facebook film The Social Network where he plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Rio and Now You See Me

Most recently Jesse stars as part of a Robin Hood-esque crew of illusionists who use their abilities to open safes and give the police a run for their money trying to figure how they did it! He also lent his voice talent to the animated film Rio, and is also working on Rio 2 (in both films he plays the voice of Blu, a macaw.)
