Pretty Little Liars: Season 4, Episode 2:: Turn of the Shoe

Jun 19, 2013

This week on Pretty Little Liars, Mrs. DiLaurentis continues to rattle everyone around her, especially when she gives Hanna a parrot that has some things to say about Ali. Find out what you missed in the Kidzworld Recap of "Turn of the Shoe" which aired June 18th, 2013.

Pretty Bird

This week on PLL, Mrs. Di Laurentis is in town creeping everybody out, but her weirdest move has to be gifting Ali's parrot (that nobody knew about) to Hanna. It turns out that through the spooky bird Ali may have the last word after all - her pet parrot might be the key to solving Alison's death, Spencer figures out that the parrot is whistling a phone number tone - unfortunately 'A' gets their hands on the parrot before the girls can decipher it.

Kung Fu Kiss

It doesn't seem to be taking long for Aria to get over he rsplit with Ezra, although true to her character she seems to have a thing for her instructors, only this time it's her smoking hot self-defence teacher Jake (Ryan Guzman) who catches her. He's supposed to be showing her some moves, but Aria is the one who gets the jump on him by kissing him when he least expects it. At least this crush is a little closer to her age!

Swim Scare

After finding some muddy heels Hanna straight up asks her mom if she was involved in Detective Wilden's death, Ashley denies it right away but things look a little suspicious when we see her trying to dispose of the heels later that night.

'A' may have left Emily a little worse for wear after that near-death encounter in the woods (will these girls ever learn to stop hanging out in the woods at night?), but Emily is determined not to miss her next swim meet. She's decided she wants to start afresh with Paige at Stanford, and the only way of doing that is making sure she makes the team. Unfortunately Emily really wasn't up to swim meet and lands herself in hospital, where she has time to think over her next move.
