The cast of the Archie comics is headed to the small screen, but unlike the fun-loving crew of the cartoon strip, The CW is showing off the darker side of Riverdale.
"Riverdale" will follow all-American teen Archie Andrews as he struggles with the realization that he wants to be a musician and not follow in his father's footsteps. He won't be getting any help from the town's resident upcoming star Josey (of Josey and The Pussycats), and even worse he's gotten involved with someone he should definitely stay away from (we're not talking about Betty OR Veronica!) Oh yeah, and did we mention he's not exactly getting along with his bestie Jughead Jones?

You'll see characters like Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Cheryl Blossom and more like you've never seen them before - just trying to make it through the day in a sleepy but dark little town full of secrets.
