The Legend Herself

  • Her full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman.
  • She was born in Oakland, CA in 1996.
  • She became interested in theater and dance when she was a kid in the Bay Area and was a student at Oakland Institute of the Arts.
  • She performed at the Shakespeare theater where her mother worked.
  • She is nearly six feet tall at 5’10” and has said that she may have pursued basketball as a career if it weren't for the success of her current jobs.

  • She and Selena Gomez crossed paths as dancers on a Sears commercial before they were big stars.
