"The Mandalorian" Trailer

We learned a bit about the first live-action Star Wars series during Star Wars Celebration, and we finally have a trailer. The short but sweet trailer showcases the misadventures of an armored bounty hunter after the events of Return of the Jedi. Writer/director Jon Favreau, who helped kick off the MCU with Iron Man and director of both The Jungle Book and The Lion King. He wanted to make this series feel a lot like the original Star Wars. The dirty look of the planets the Mandalorian finds himself on, and the various alien races he runs into all create a lived in world that feels as real as the galaxy of spaceships and lightsabers can. Instead of starring a Jedi or dashing rogue hero, the Mandalorian stars one man just trying to make his way through a galaxy without law or order. This different look at the universe is incredibly interesting, and the potential that comes from twisting the usual Star Wars stories into something a little bit different should be a great reason to check out the show when it arrives November 12th.

Obi-Wan Series

Something that many fans have wanted to see is a return of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a movie or series, and now a series is confirmed! Ewan McGregor who played Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith is set to return to play the Jedi Master. The story will happen around the same time as Solo: A Star Wars Story. Showing how Kenobi struggles to survive in the world following Revenge of the Sith where the Jedi Order has been all but destroyed would be prime for some great stories.

Clone Wars Returns in February

The long-awaited conclusion to the animated series has a confirmed release date of February of next year. The eighth season is going to both tie up the story of the whole show, lead into Revenge of the Sith, and open the doors for new adventures for characters like Ahsoka Tano. It will no doubt be an emotional final ride for fans of the series, but the show deserves a worthy ending.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

If you have ever wanted to spend two days in space, you (virtually) can. This is an immersive hotel experience where you and your family can hop aboard a starship called the Halcyon. While onboard the ship, there is tons to do just like on a real cruise ship like helping pilot and watch the stars fly by out the windows. The crew is made up of aliens and droids alike, but also expect a visit from The First Order.
