The reimagined iconic family game show, which aired last year, follows the original premise of kids helping adult contestants put their knowledge to the test by answering questions taken directly from an elementary school curriculum. Host John Cena, who also executive produced, is joined each episode by a rotating cast of 12 brainy fifth graders to see which contestants will be able to answer everything correctly to win $100,000 and declare that they, too, are as smart a fifth grader.

In addition to episodes on Nicktoons, on Saturday, April 4th, at 6:00pm, and Sunday, April 5th, at 7:00pm, TeenNick will also be airing four episodes back-to-back each night.  In case it’s also of interest, users of Amazon Alexa can also test their elementary school knowledge with the free "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" Amazon Alexa skill. Players can either team up or play solo to answer questions from grades one through five, receiving help from five classmates as they progress through each level. If users get a question wrong the classmates will be able to save them from being eliminated. To enable the skill, users only need to say “Alexa, open Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader.”
