Blue Star Tattoos

Dec 27, 2006

If you've been hanging out in the cafeteria or library you're probably out of the loop. It seems that there's a drug-soaked tattoo known as "Blue Star" being sold on school grounds. This tattoo is a small piece of paper with a blue star on it. Each paper is the size of a pencil eraser and each star is soaked with LSD. Also known as acid, LSD is a powerful hallucinogenic drug that is absorbed through the skin simply by handling the paper. Another tattoo going around is brightly colored papers that look almost like postage stamps with pictures of the following on them:

  • Superman
  • Mickey Mouse
  • Clowns
  • Disney Characters
  • Bart Simpson
  • Butterflies

Each tab or piece of paper is wrapped in foil. It doesn't take long before the drug kicks in and what's even scarier is that some are laced with strychnine, a lethal poison used for killing rodents and other pests. This stuff is dangerous if you take it in large portions, but smaller doses are used in medicine.

Remember last weeks story about all those alligators coming up thru toilets in New York? Well part of it is true. Years ago, before your parents were born, a traveling circus send lots of kids home with pet gators. It didn't take long for all those kids to find out that gators aren't the perfect pet so they got rid of them. As for living in the sewer and coming up through the toilets, it's all hogwash. Alligators can't survive in the sewer regardless of any story you've been told.

Here are last weeks poll results:

    Believe It or Not?

    Yes: 37 percent
    No: 66 percent
    I don't know: 0 percent
