Causes & Cures for Common Warts (pg. 2)

Dec 27, 2006

Types Of Warts

There are several different kinds of warts. Common warts usually grow on your fingers, hands and elbows. The common wart is round and grayish-brown with black dots. Kids often get flat warts. They're small and flat and are pink, brown or yellow. You've probably seen the filiform warts before. They're the kind that are really big. You usually see them around the eyes and nose of the old and scary people living up the street.

The Common Cure

Most warts eventually disappear on their own. You can also get them removed using a medicine from the drug store or you can get your doctor to do it for you. Doctors can get rid of them by zapping the warts with a laser or by using a special chemical that freezes the wart off. Remember that warts are a common skin condition and you're not some kinda freak because you get them. There's a good chance lots of your friends will get warts or have already had them.
