Danger on Deception Island Details

In the PC game, Nancy Drew Danger on Deception Island, Nancy is taking a little vacation. Her friends suggest she head to Deception Island in Washington State, but once Nancy Drew arrives, she realizes that there's a mystery to solve! Seems a whale watching boat has been vandalized and from there, the "accidents" just keep coming. So it's up to you - as Nancy Drew - to poke around the island, interrogate the locals and get to the bottom of the mystery.

Nancy Drew Neat Clues

The computer game is easy to learn, thanks to a super-short but useful tutorial. It's all you need to start your mission. The graphics on this Nancy Drew computer game are 'da bomb! They use both real images and cool graphics, as you move along on your adventure. The sound effects and music are well chosen, too. I got a little freaked out every time I heard a door creek. Getting to walk around town as Nancy Drew is pretty cool. The game lets you chose dialogue so it's up to you to ask the right questions, or give cheeky comebacks! If you're a little nervous about making a wrong decision that'll land you in the hospital (tip: don't cycle without a helmet) - don't be. There's a Second Chance button that let's you try again - picking up where you left off. And, you can call those super-cute Hardy Boys for advice and help along the way!

Nancy Drew Dead Ends

Nancy Drew Danger on Deception Island is not your typical mindless video game. There is a lot of dialogue to listen to and remember (clues, clues, clues) and some of the challenges/puzzles Nancy Drew needs to figure out are not exactly no-brainers. Morse Code is harder to learn than Latin! Luckily, there are two different levels of game play. You don't have to be a professional detective right off the bat, you can play as a Junior Detective and get a little more help along the way.

Nancy Drew Danger on Deception Island: Final Word

If you're into using that noggin of yours, this game will have you hooked. Before you know it, you'll be dying to play other Nancy Drew computer mysteries like, Stay Tuned for Danger and The Haunted Carousel!
