Legally Blonde 2: Red White and Blonde- The Legal Brief

A successful lawyer, Elle Woods is [kwlink]engaged[/kwlink] to Emmett (Luke Wilson), her knight in shining armour from the first Legally Blonde flick. When Elle discovers that her Chihuahua Bruiser's mother is a victim of animal testing, she becomes passionate about the cause. She seeks the help of the other lawyers at her firm and gets fired because her boss doesn't think she's serious enough. This motivates Elle to try and change the law rather than fight it. She lines up a job for herself with Victoria Rudd (Sally Field), a Congresswoman whom she looks up to. With the snap of her perfectly french-manicured fingers, Ms. Woods packs up her convertible and heads to Washington.

Legally Blonde 2: Red White and Blonde- "Capital Barbie"

Elle faces much of the same struggles in Washington to fit in as she did when she first went to Harvard. With her goal to make animal testing illegal, Elle writes Bruiser's Bill. After putting her heart into getting the bill passed, Elle discovers that Congresswoman Rudd has been going behind her back against the bill in order to protect her own interests. Elle enlists an army of sorority sisters, her manicurist (Jennifer Coolidge)and her hotel bell-hop (Bob Newhart) to help campaign and get 218 signatures on a petition. In the end, the Bruiser's bill is passed and the innocent animals are released - make-up free!

Legally Blonde: Red White and Blonde- The Bottom Line

It's been argued by many that when it comes to movies, the sequel is never as good as the original - and the Legally Blonde flicks are no exception. Legally Blonde 2 is definitely an entertaining movie full of funny characters, but it doesn't quite compare to the first time Elle Woods stepped her stiletto-heeled foot onto the big screen.

Legally Blonde 2: Red White and Blonde Rating:3
