Get the scoop on the Mario Party 6 multiplayer party game for the Nintendo Gamecube.

Want to party with Mario and the Nintendo video game crew? That's what Mario Party 6 is all about! Grab a handful of friends, choose your fave Nintendo character, like Link, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Bowser or others, and get playing. The game is packed full of easy-to-play mini-games that are fast and fun. There's even a microphone included with the game for all-new voice-activated mini-games. Here's the 411 on what's hot and what's not with our video game review.

Hot Stuff in Mario Party 6

The coolest part of Mario Party 6 for the Nintendo Gamecube is that it's dead simple for anyone and their dog to pick up and play. There's also a microphone with the game for games that turn into shoutfests - it's perfect fun for a noisy party! Plus, there are a whole bunch of modes for playing with [kwlink]friends[/kwlink], by yourself, with all the mic games and other stuff.

Mario Party 6 Video Game Party Poopers

The biggest pain is the graphics. They aren't retro, like The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. They're just weak and need the game designers to upgrade 'em. Ditto for the game itself. If you already have Mario Party 5, you're not missing much.

Party Wrapup! Is Mario Party 6 a Hit?

It's a hoot! Once you start playing it with your friends, you'll be able to ignore the weak graphics and get down to some serious gaming fun. But, if you already have Mario Party 5, rent it first and see if the tiny changes are worth picking up a whole new game.
