Now it has indy comic characters like Hellboy, Ultimates superheroes and more. Here's the scoop on where HeroClix is at.

DC, Marvel and Indy HeroClix Game History

The HeroClix game started it up with classic Marvel heroes and villains back in 2002. Then, the DC crew rolled out with Batman, Superman and the rest of the big names in the same year. Being able to mix 'n match the two games was a wicked way to have your fave heroes and villains battle in adventures you make up yourself. Then, in October 2003, the Indy HeroClix game brought tons of extra characters to the game. Hellboy, Judge Dread and the Danger Girls were just a few of the new heroes to join the battle.
