Whats new with Goku and the DBZ crew in Dragon Ball Z: Sagas for the Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox? We review it!

Atari has released Dragon Ball Z: Sagas video game for the Gamecube, Playstation 2 and Xbox so you can play though the DBZ story with a new twist - cooperative multiplayer! Does this new game rock 'em and sock 'em? Or is it a Kamehameha-sized piece of junk? Here's our review!

Awesome Battles and Super Movies in DBZ: Sagas

It's multiplayer, at the same time! That's the coolest new feature - you and a buddy can hook it up and kick the snot out of the bad guys as a DBZ team. Plus, once you've finished the game, you can play any level as any character.

Is Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Lame-O-Licious!

Unfortunately, this game is packed full of so much suck that it hurts. The graphics are gruesome. It has bugs that can make enemies invisible. You can fly, but not up or down, even if there's a power-up just barely out of reach. There are lots of places you can't get to, but enemies can go there and you can't reach them. It's so short you can beat it in a day. Finally, the worst thing about DBZ: Sagas is that one single move, the teleport and combo one-two punch, will let you beat every boss.

Who's the Winner in Dragon Ball Z: Sagas?

Nobody! It's funny looking, really dumb and way too short to be worth your gaming bucks. Unless you're an insane DBZ addict, you're better off playing the truly awesome Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. Forget Frieza, Trunks should have chopped this stinker in half.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Thumbs Up:

  • Really easy to pull the fighting combos.
  • You can play two player with a friend.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Thumbs Down:

  • You can cream every boss with the same move.
  • It's over in a day if you're any good.
  • The graphics are weak.
  • Moving around the levels is really awkward.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Game Rating: 3
