July 19, 2005

My summer of relaxation and chilling out has come to an end. I've just got a job at a sports store at the mall near my house. I walked into the store to look around and just started talking to the manager about sports and skateboarding and he offered me a job. I didn't even have to fill out an application! I'll mostly just be stocking shelves and putting together skateboards, so it's a pretty sweet deal.

The job is only a few hours a week, which means I'll still have lots of time to skate and hang out, which is cool. I'll also be making some extra cash to spend on video games and skate gear and best of all, I get discounts on all sports gear at the store. That means I'll be getting tons of stylin' clothes, new shoes and lots of other stuff this summer. It's not my dream job of being a pro skateboarder or a secret agent, but it's still a pretty sweet deal. Definitey way better than cutting grass or flipping burgers.

So, besides from my new job, I don't have any real big plans for the summer. I'm hopefully going on a camping trip some time in August and still have plans to keep working on my skate video. What about you guys? What are you doing for the summer?

Later,
Simon
