These little critters just won't stop! Pokemon Stadium 2 is the latest way to visit the incredible world of the Pocket Monsters. Become a trainer and visit White City where you can challenge other trainers and enter in tournaments to prove that you're the greatest Pokemaster of all!

Pokemon Stadium 2 Good Graphics

As soon as you turn on the game you're in for a treat. The Pokemon look great! They're really detailed, they move smoothly and they've got heaps of attitude. Their attacks are bold and flashy - everything from Charmander's flame attack to Pikachu's lightning looks awesome.

Pokemon Stadium 2 Bad News

The graphics rock and the sound is okay. The attacks sound good and the tunes get the job done. But the announcer starts getting annoying after about an hour. He runs out of stuff to say and even announces the wrong things. Not a big problem but it's a pain.

Pokemon Stadium 2 Great News

The best part of Pokemon is the strategy. There are almost 250 Pokemon and they're all different. You have to match fire against grass, block normal moves with Ghost and swap your Pokemon to make combos. The library is set up to teach you all the best tactics. Once you know all about every Pokemon then you're ready to be a Pokemaster!

Pokemon Stadium 2 Big Bummer

The biggest problem with Pokemon Stadium 2 is that if you don't have the Gameboy Pokemon games you're in trouble. A lot of stuff doesn't work without the Gameboy games plugged into your N64 Transfer Pack. You can't catch your own Pokemon or train them, you only have the rental Pokemon. If you want to win you're gonna need your own trained Pokemon.

Pokemon Stadium 2 Final Words

If you're a Poke-fan you'll love this game. If you're new it's a great way to learn, but you need the Gameboy games to really win.
