It’s time to unleash the gadget monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game with the new Machine Re-Volt Structure Deck! This deck is all about machine monsters and has been designed by a team of Yu-Gi-Oh! dueling pros to kick some serious butt. How fun is it to play? Gary takes this gadget-fest of a deck for a spin to bring you his Machine Re-Volt Structure Deck review!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Deck - Gadgetry 101

The way to duel your opponent into the ground with the Machine Re-Volt deck is to use the card combos to special summon a bunch of smaller monsters. Once you have those, use them to tribute summon a giant bruiser like the Ancient Gear Golem from Dr. Crowler’s deck in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TV show! Then, use Limiter Removal to double its Attack and march all over your opponent! You also have a bunch of ways to shut down your opponent’s Spell and Trap cards so they can’t stop you from crushing them.

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Deck - Top Toys

The best part of this deck is a trio of little monsters – Green Gadget, Red Gadget and Yellow Gadget. Why? Because they can summon each other so you never run out of monsters! They’re great for any machine deck and are so good it’s worth buying three of these Structure Decks just to get more of them.

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Deck - Clunky Cards

Like every Yu-Gi-Oh! Structure Deck, there are cards in this one that seem really cool, but that suck. Stronghold – The Moving Fortress, Machine Duplication, the Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon and Chimera are all pretty weak. Swap them out for some serious cards!

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Deck - High-Tech or Busted?

The three Gadget monster cards make this deck worth buying, but it’s also pretty solid for dueling! If you’re new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game this is a great deck to start with and if you’re a pro, buy three copies for the Gadgets.

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Thumbs Up:

  • Packed with powerful rare cards.
  • Machine decks are 'da bomb and this is a great start to making a wicked one.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Re-Volt Thumbs Down:

  • Some weak cards.
