An animated princess finds herself in the real world. Can storybook romance survive in the real world? Kidzworlds got the review of Enchanted!

When an animated princess finds herself in the real world, she discovers that fairy tale romances are hard to find when you don't live in a magic kingdom. We've got the scoop on Disney's Enchanted, now available on DVD!

Happily Ever After?

Once upon a time, there was a princess named Giselle who lived in a beautiful, animated kingdom. But one day, Giselle takes a not-so-accidental tumble down a well and finds herself in the real live-action New York City. Her formerly pastel cheeks are now made of real flesh. The perky princess is overwhelmed by the bustling city, until she finds refuge with a single father.

Who's the Fairest of Them All?

Robert, a divorce lawyer, and his motherless daughter, Morgan, are kind but wary of Giselle and her fairy princess ways. In the real world, her innocence makes her seem demented. Meanwhile Giselle's animated love, Prince Edward, along with his manservant, Nathaniel, set out to find his beloved princess. Will he find his true love? Will she still want him if he does? Can a girl ever really find her happily ever after in the real world? You'll have to watch to find out!

The DVD has deleted scenes, laugh-out-loud bloopers, behind the scenes featurettes and a pop-up adventure called Pip's Predicament, which takes you an a journey to rescue Prince Edward in Andalasia.

Bottom Line

Enchanted is a hilarious, goofy musical comedy that pokes fun at the traditional Disney fairy tales, without becoming too cynical. Amy Adams is perfect as Giselle, and the song-and-dance numbers are laugh-out-loud funny. This flick is sure to be a hit with your whole fam, so round up your folks, your grandparents, and even your grumpiest uncle and settle in to watch this movie! It's enchanting.
