Not only do wolves look awesome, they're very cool creatures with complicated social groups and strong family values. The friendly folks from the Minnesota Zoo decided that giving everybody a chance to bring a wolf pack home would be a great idea. So they created the WolfQuest game and put it online for anybody to download and play! Here's the 411 on WolfQuest and how to get the free game download.

Packs, Pups and Perils

In WolfQuest, you get to run around in a 3D version of the Yellowstone National Park as a wolf! You can customize your wolf, from its pelt to how strong it is, then jump into the game in single-player or online multiplayer, complete with a kid-safe chat. As you play, you'll be able to learn how wolves live, hunt, mate and more. You can even have pups and raise them to hunt with you!

Free Game Download Instructions

Getting your paws on a copy of WolfQuest is simple. All you have to do is follow these super easy step-by-step instructions and you'll be hunting wild elk in no time.

  1. Click Here to go to the WolfQuest website.
  2. There are a bunch of questions you need to answer, then you click the "Continue to Download Page" link.
  3. On the download page, Right-Click the "Windows Game" link and choose to save the file to your Desktop.
  4. While you're downloading 74MB of howling good fun, check out the latest news on sports, games, movies, dating.
  5. For bonus points, scroll down the game download page until you find the "WolfQuest Manual" link - Right-Click and save that file too!
  6. Once the WolfQuest game file has downloaded, double-click it to install it.
  7. When you're ready to play WolfQuest, launch it to enter the Yellowstone National Park as a wolf!
