Following the huge success of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, the next Chronicles of Narnia adventure, Prince Caspian, is sure to delight fans with its magic and mythology.

It's Been a While

When we last saw the Pevensie siblings, they had defeated The White Witch and taken the throne as Kings and Queens of Narnia. Now they're back in the real world of war-time London until magically summoned back to Narnia. They find that even though it has only been a year in their world, over a thousand years have passed in Narnia, people have forgotten about Aslan, and Cair Paravel is in ruin.

It's Always the Jealous Brother

When they rescue a dwarf, Trumpkin, from drowning they find out that since they have been gone from Narnia, a race of men called the Telmarines have invaded Narnia and driven the talking animals into the wilderness. Narnia is now ruled by the evil King Miraz, who killed his brother to take the throne. When the rightful heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, learns of his Uncle's plans to kill him as well, Caspian escapes to the forest where he assembles an army of banished creatures.

Race to the Prince

Though they fought valiantly, Caspian's army was no match for the Telmarines, and he desperately blew Queen Susan's Horn which brought the children back to Narnia. The journey is long and treacherous as the four Pevensie children make their way to the battlefield to help Caspian reclaim the throne, but Lucy is visited by Aslan, and he guides the children to Caspian's side. Can Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy help Caspian to defeat Miraz and restore Narnia to its former glory?

Bottom Line

The Chronicles of Narnia is set to become the next Lord of the Rings style fantasy series, with Prince Caspian serving as a very capable successor to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. This flick is quite a bit darker and more mature, which makes sense because the children are growing up too. Also, it's very fight heavy throughout, with incredible battle sequences and impressive visual effects, including a couple amazing things you've definitely never seen before. Fans of The Chronicles of Narnia will definitely line-up for this installment, and will already be talking about seeing The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in a 2010!
